Dr. Nicole Alexander M.D., M.A. (Master of Arts), is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Alexander completed her undergraduate training at the University of California, Los Angeles then went on to complete her medical degree at Howard University, College of Medicine. After completing her residency in Family Medicine at UCLA she completed a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica. In addition, Dr. Alexander completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona under Dr. Andrew Weil. Dr. Alexander has additional training in urgent care medicine, adolescent health, women’s health and weight loss medicine.
Dr. Alexander is a strong supporter of holistic comprehensive healthcare for her patients. Dr. Alexander believes that the mind and body are connected and when one system is ill it throws off everything. Dr. Alexander supports her patients in getting adequate rest/recovery, having balance in their work lives, encouraging healthy relationships, while eating healthy food options and being active. Dr. Alexander grew up in San Diego, California and enjoys traveling, being outdoors, exercising, watching movies and spending time with loved ones.

Extensive experience in Diversity Equity and Inclusion Initiatives. Pioneering Physician Chair of Torrance Memorial Health Systems Diversity, Equity and Inclusion during my tenure as Committee Chair. Our committee was successful in setting forth Torrance Memorial first DEI resources including reporting system and training on social justice issues.
