Comprehensive Mental Health Treatment with Compassionate Support for Addiction
Addiction Support as a Secondary Mental Health Concern
At Felicity Mental Health, our primary focus is treating mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and mood disorders through our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). We recognize, however, that many individuals struggling with mental health challenges may also experience substance use or addictive behaviors as a way of coping with emotional distress.
While Felicity Mental Health is not a dual-diagnosis or substance abuse treatment facility, our clinical team is trained to address the underlying emotional, psychological, and behavioral factors that often contribute to or coexist with addiction.
How We Help
Our goal is to help clients build emotional stability and resilience so they can make healthier choices and maintain recovery-focused progress. Within our scope of care, we provide:
- Individual and Group Therapy focusing on emotional regulation, stress management, and relapse prevention.
- Education on the connection between mental health and substance use, empowering clients with insight and coping tools.
- Motivational and Behavioral Interventions to support clients in managing cravings and triggers.
- Coordination and Referrals — When a client requires specialized addiction treatment or detox services, we collaborate with trusted community partners to ensure continuity of care and safety.
